FAQs

  • What happens at the end of the project?

Once we have finished the reporting component of your project, we will email a PDF copy to you with the invoice attached. We will also send out a survey so you can provide feedback if you like. If you have any questions about the report, please give us a call and we can clarify everything for you.

  • What happens when I call the Ecoteam office?

We answer the phone promptly and you are referred to a technical professional right from the start. We will record your details and provide you with a written quote within 24 hours.

  • What happens if I would like to go ahead?

Please reply in writing (via email is perfect). We will then give you a call to arrange a site inspection (if needed) and collect any other information to get the job done. We will also provide a ‘finish date’ so you can continue planning your project with the reassurance you will have the information you need when you need it.

  • What if I find a cheaper price?

We have undertaken detailed cost analysis for each of our jobs, and include all items so there are no hidden surprises later. We do not want to hit you with project variations for common items that should have been included in the first place.

  • What happens during the project? Will you keep me up to date with progress?

Yes! We will keep you up to date every step of the way. We will call and email to provide progress updates and to clarify things with you as needed. If you prefer to be left alone, we are more than happy to get on with the job. Please let us know your expectations.

  • What if I just want a ballpark estimate?

We have fixed rates for some services and can estimate prices for others. We prefer to send out a detailed quote (if possible) so you have all of the information at hand during your decision making process. Then, if you decide to go ahead, we have all of the information ready to go, with no hidden costs or surprises. The benefit of a written quote is that everyone knows where they stand - right from the start

  • What payment methods do you accept? What are your payment terms?

We have 14 day payment terms for private customers and 30 day payment terms for local and state governments. We prefer direct transfers to our bank account for ease of administration. If this does not suit, please let us know and we will work something out that suits you.

  • What is so ‘eco’ about Ecoteam? Are you a green business?

    • Yes, we certainly are. We walk the talk when it comes to environmental sustainability. • Our entire vehicle feet is Carbon Neutral. • Our electricity supply is Carbon Neutral • We use soy ink for printing. • Our paper is 100% recycled post-consumer waste. • We have a compost worm farm for our green waste. • And we are avid recyclers!

  • What is your company vision?

Our company vision is ‘Working as a team to create true wealth by nurturing the environment and inspiring community’. The heart of our business is not just about making a profit. While that’s fantastic for our shareholders, it is not our only business driver. As we all know there are other key performance indicators we all live by.

  • What is a constructed wetland?
