Millers Civil Contractors commenced in the early 1980s as a one machine company with an Allis Charmers grader. Demand quickly grew from simply grading roads to full road construction requiring the addition of equipment and the business' first employee. In addition to this, the company's first premises were built which also included a soil yard.

Brooks Hire commenced in 1979 when Doug Brooks purchased two u/s compressors on bankcard. In 1982 Doug purchased the first piece of mobile plant an 8 tonne JEC crane, by tender, which Doug drove to Eneabba. At the time of buying the crane, Doug was operating the business from a shed at Eneabba working 18 hour days and living 5 days a week in a humpy at the back of a shed.

Wayne Horne Earthmoving was formed in 1988 when Wayne Horne was joined by Mike Beaumont as a financial & business partner. Mike’s farm at Sulky provided the base for the company’s operations. As the plant diversified the company moved into dam construction, drainage & general civil works. As the capacity of the plant further increased so has the company’s ability to undertake even larger projects.

Adams Drillers is a family business which is operated in the Wangaratta region of North East Victoria/Southern New South Wales since 1960. Adams Drillers was founded by Kenneth Harrison Adams whose experience in the drilling industry dates from the early 1950's. Adams Drillers also trades as Adams Drillers and is your boring & drilling services specialists.
