When to go to an urgent care or walk-in medical clinic near you

When your primary health care physician is not available, but you need urgent medical attention (not to be confused with emergency cases that are life-threatening or can affect sensitive body functions like limb paralysis and amputations) urgent care and walk in medical clinics are your saviour. Feeling ill? Your nearest medical clinic can a provide you treatments for the following ailments and symptoms within 24 hours:

• Non-life threatening allergic reactions
• Ear pain
• Painful urination
• Diarrhea
• Sore throat
• Vomiting
• Minor trauma like sprains and cuts that needs stitching
