Hugh Wood Tree Lopping did a fantastic job of removing 9 HUGE palms along with other trees in our unit complex. They also removed 4 large palms from my very small courtyard. All of this in an afternoon! The guys were all very friendly, worked really hard and did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. All this for a very reasonable price! I would definitely recommend the team from Hugh Wood Treelopping to any individual or Body Corporate in Yeppoon or the Rockhampton area. Thanks again guys, great job!

Safety when handling firewood

After finding firewood for sale near you, it is worth considering the safety of your fireplace to ensure no accidents happen to the people enjoying it. Follow the following guidelines to make sure you don’t get burned!

  • Buy firewood logs that are not too big. 2-4 kg per log should be okay.
  • Never use petrol, oil or kerosene to help light a fire. They could cause an explosion.
  • If you plan on leaving firewood to burn overnight. Only turn the air supply down to the minimum setting once all the firewood is charred.
