About Country Women's Association

AT A GLANCE
  • Bringing women & families together
  • Provide a forum for the voice of all women in WA
  • Improve conditions & welfare of all families
  • Regular social interaction
  • Encourage development in regional areas
The Aim of the Association shall be to improve the wellbeing of all people, especially those in country areas.
Since 1924, The Country Women’s Association of Western Australia has welcomed members from all walks of life, cultural and religious backgrounds, young and not so young, and from country to city. It is an organisation of inspirational, strong and determined women who see the need to contribute to society and leave a lasting legacy of positive change throughout the decades.

We are a proud and active women’s organisation working to improve the welfare and wellbeing of people everywhere, especially in country areas.

In CWA there will be an interest for all women. Our organisation provides community service, support networks, welfare in times of need, educational opportunities, friendship, fun and a great deal more. There are benefits for you and your community through CWA.

CWA of WA encompasses the entire State, with branches throughout Western Australia both in metropolitan and rural areas.

Whoever you are, whatever your skills, you will find a place and home at the CWA.

It was once said by a well known Statesman that the Association always achieved “results without headlines”. We are the quiet achievers, giving people and communities help and hope here in Western Australia, and beyond our borders in the South Pacific.
