As a detailed history is taken for each client (including current Dr's medication) we will work in with your current medication to ensure there is no doubling up or side effects. Each medication is checked for safety and efficacy.
All medication is assessed for each client, even if that client is a baby or child. Medicines are chosen for each specific individual and dosage is calculated for each person. Homoeopathic remedies particularly suit babies and children and are safe and easy to administer.
The initial Naturopathic Consultation takes approximately one hour. At the beginning of the consultation, you are asked about your health goals. A detailed personal history (current and past) is taken, including family history, medications, allergies, diet and lifestyle issues, sleep, menstrual or male history, digestive health etc. An Iridology reading is taken in order to discuss the strengths and challenges your body currently has. A detailed programme is put together to achieve your goals.
Your completed questionnaire (which will be emailed). If you have had any tests, investigations or operations, a copy of the results would be appreciated. This might save you from having to undergo further tests. If you are taking nutritional items from the chemist, health shop or supermarket please bring these with you so we can see what you are taking and how it may affect your health. Quality may also be an issue depending on the brand and ingredients.
