FAQs
Our expert team can help to find the perfect system to suit your needs.
Are you looking for a solution to a chute angle problem?
Sometimes chutes are added after the plant is built. This can mean that the chute is at less than the optimum angle for product flow and the material needs assistance to move.
Whatever your chute issues may be, our friendly and professional team will be more than happy to help.
At VSS, we're committed to keeping production lines moving across the country.
Whether you own a small company on the Gold Coast or a national corporation, we want to ensure that your product is reaching the shop floor when you need it to.
To help achieve this goal, we offer a comprehensive range of vibration products to suit all kinds of applications. Take a look at the solutions we have available.

Electric vibrators consist of a specially designed motor with out-of-balance weights attached to shafts extending from each end of the rotor. These weights can be adjusted to give different force outputs within the range of the motor, but the speed of rotation (frequency) remains constant unless an external speed controller is used (VFC drive).
A flow aid is a generic term used for any device that promotes flow from hoppers and down chutes. At VSS, we have many years’ experience supplying vibrators for this purpose, ranging from a gentle action to more forceful options.
The usual problems on production lines are caused by the product sticking to the hopper walls, bridging over the hopper outlet, or sticking to itself, with only the product directly over the outlet discharging. Our experienced team can diagnose the issues within your system to provide a vibrator solution that’s tailored to your specific needs, getting your product moving again.
Pneumatic piston vibrators are basically an oscillating piston inside a cylinder. There are no valves required to change the piston direction & the units are completely self-contained. Depending on the model, the piston bodies are steel or aluminium with many models being available in stainless steel to handle aggressive washdown environments. In all models frequency and force is changed by adjusting the inlet air pressure, with amplitude changes by throttling the exhaust airflow in many models.
Two-pole motors are used as flow aids, with four, six and eight-pole motors being most commonly used as drives for various machines. Our high-quality vibrating motors are all IP66.7 rated (except for five of the smaller models), with many of the two-pole models being available in either single or three phases.
