FAQs

  • Do I need a referral?

No. For a standard consultation no referral is necessary, simply call us and make an appointment. However for DVA gold card, Medicare (under the Enhanced Primary Care Program), Workcover or TAC, you will need a referral from your GP.

  • Can I claim Podiatry through my health fund?

If you have podiatry extras cover you may be eligible to claim part of your treatment fee back. Individual health funds vary so you are best to check the details of your policy directly with your insurer. HICAPS is currently unavailable at Yea Podiatry Clinic however you will be issued with a receipt at the conclusion of your consultation detailing relevant provider and item numbers to allow you to claim your rebate directly through your insurer.

  • What should I bring to my appointment?

Please bring anything to your appointment that you feel will assist with your diagnosis and treatment, including your usual footwear, any sports footwear, orthotics, referral letters and relevant test results such as x-rays or ultrasound.
