Bovine Inseminations is a private owned family company, Established by Ian Parkinson in 1976. From the outset we have with increase diversity over the year Bovine offer a complete range of Herd Improvement Services. As of July 1st 1999 we implemented a major long term initiative in Sponsoring Rural Primary School by pledging a % of our annual turnover in Sponsorship to Rural Primary School.

From its inception, the company has focused on artificial breeding, steadily expanding its services over the years to encompass a comprehensive array of herd improvement solutions. One of the primary services offered is artificial breeding, which is complemented by freeze branding, a method used to identify animals with minimal stress. Additionally, Bovine Inseminations provides calf de-horning services to ensure the safety and well-being of both the animals and the herd.

To support optimal herd management, we offer extensive herd recording services. This includes regular testing, conducted either monthly or bimonthly, to monitor key health indicators such as somatic cell counts and pregnancy status through milk testing. We utilise the AusHerd Herd Recording Software to streamline data collection and analysis. We offer a wide range of options to meet the specific needs of our clients.
