No, as the owner/operator of Highton Hearing I do not work on commission. My incentive is to obtain the best results for my client's so that they are happy with the service and their experience at Highton Hearing!
Yes, we do minor repairs and cleaning. For replacement of internal parts the aids may need to be returned to the manufacturer for repair. We can organize this for you.
Yes, we are open Saturday mornings by appointment for private clients. Private clients are those clients that are not eligible for free government services. Having worked 9-5, 5 days a week I know how hard it is to arrange necessary appointments with other 9 to 5, Monday to Friday businesses.
As we are in a building with other allied health professionals who make their own appointments it would be appreciated if you could phone to make an appointment. This way we know when to expect you and will be free to concentrate on you and your appointment.
No, I believe in my clients having as many appointments as is necessary to ensure that they are managing and are happy with their aids. There will also be touch base and hearing review/aid adjustment appointments that I will arrange periodically or if you ever have any problems feel free to contact me.
If you are eligible for free government hearing services and it is your first time applying for the hearing services voucher, you will need your G.P to fill out a medical certificate form. If your G.P does not already have these forms you can obtain one from the hearing services website or I can arrange to get one to you as well as check your eligibility. Please call: 0434 170 244.
