Hilliard Christian School uses the state curriculum as foundational to the material that is taught, & has been providing quality Christian education to the community since 1901. Situated in a beautiful bushland setting at West Moonah with panoramic views along the Derwent River, our mission is to provide a God-centred, supportive educational environment in which students can reach their potential & find value in a life of service to God and the community.

Hilliard Christian School provides schooling for children from Kindergarten to Year 10. The school is part of the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist school system and is operated by the Seventh-day Adventist churches of Southern Tasmania for young people desiring an educational experience based on a Christian philosophy. This philosophy touches every aspect of their lives. The school cultivates & encourages an atmosphere of tolerance & respect for others including peers, parents and teachers.
