The inception of our business group dates back to 1990, when entrepreneur Paul Cabalzar identified a gap in the Tasmanian market for a specialised fasteners provider and set out to fill it.

Commencing operations at the old Launceston store in Wellington Street, Paul, who still owns and passionately drives the business, laid the groundwork for what would become a significant local enterprise. Our evolution has seen us relocate to a larger, more extensive store on Frederick Street in Launceston, and we've mirrored this expansion with the establishment of another similar fixture in Hobart, located on Albert Road in Moonah. These strategic moves have been instrumental in enabling us to carry a larger and more comprehensive range of stock, ensuring that our customers can always find what they need under our roofs.
