- Self Storage is when you rent a lockable self storage unit that you pack & unpack your self - You lock your storage unit and keep the key - It is your own personal space that you alone can access (or anyone you allow) - You can access the storage unit any time during storage facility access hours - You can rent the unit for any period of time - It is your responsibility to load & unload goods from the unit - Our storage facilities give you easy drive up access to your storage unit

This is the million dollar question. If you supply us with an inventory of items we can easily estimate size of storage unit required. Alternatively you can use our advanced on-line space estimator. It also depends on how you intend on using the storage space. If you need frequent & easy access to your goods you may decide to up size your storage unit. Otherwise you can stack the goods tightly and utilise height. Unfortunately you cannot take up residence in the storage unit.
Storage units do not have fixed contracts. You can keep the unit for as little as 2 weeks or as long as needed.
Your goods are not insured by default. There are no guarantees in life. As a general rule, if you have home contents insurance then it would be wise to take out self storage insurance. Insurance is easy and can be done on the day you move into your storage unit. You will find it surprisingly affordable. Low risk means low premiums.
You can access your storage unit as often as you like during facility access hours. Most storage facilities have 7 day access. Some facilities with outdoor container storage may allow 24/7 access to their containers. It is important to ask for your locations access hours.
Security and peace of mind are very important to us. Facilities have alarm systems installed with 24 hour monitoring & CCTV. It is important to check with each individual facility about their security measures as they can vary.
The customer and anyone they wish may access the storage unit. The facility does not keep a key unless by prior arrangement and with all appropriate paper work signed.
