Masks are no longer mandatory within Orthopaedics SA rooms, but hospitals require masks on their premises.
Inform the team if you contract COVID-19 up to 8 weeks prior to your scheduled surgery, as there is a required wait time before having an elective anesthetic.
Telehealth consultations are conducted via phone or video service, allowing patients to speak with doctors from home. If you miss the call, the doctor will call again within an hour or during the scheduled window.
