What is house relocation?
A house relocation is the process of moving a house from one location to another.

What is re-stumping?
Re-stumping, also often called re-blocking, basically involves removing existing stumps and replacing them with new stumps. This is done by jacking up the area around the defective stumps & then lowering the floor joists back on to the new stumps and securing them in place. This alone is a complex process, but in order to ensure the house will be level and structurally sound when the job is completed, each new stump must be precisely positioned.

How do I know if my house needs re-stumping?
Typical signs of structural instability include: Cracks in plaster work & brickwork - Sloping floors - Decay of foundations beneath the house - Doors creaking or not closing properly.

We operate Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm and we are available on Saturday & Sunday by appointment.
