FAQs

  • What do you charge?

Fees for services vary a little depending on length and complexity of appointment. For a list of fees see our website: http://buderimpodiatry.com.au/about-us/fees/

  • How long are appointments?

Most appointments are for 30 minutes.

  • Do you do anything on the first appointment?

Your initial appointment will start with taking personal details and particulars at reception, then proceed to take a full relevant medical history with the podiatrist. Most people will have treatment if required on the first appointment.

  • Are appointments free with Medicare?

A system exists for referral from your general practitioner to allied health providers for up to five visits in a year. We ask that you pay the full fee for service on the day of your appointment and should you have your savings accounts linked for Medicare, we can claim the rebate back for you. The rebate will be paid into your nominated account within the next 2 days. The gap payment is variable, but is often $12.05 between a routine appointment and the Medicare rebate.

  • Do you do orthotics?

Yes, we offer a full comprehensive service covering a wide range of type of orthotics from soft to hard, ¾ to full length insoles. See: http://buderimpodiatry.com.au/orthotics/moulded-orthotics/

  • Can the podiatrist cut my fingernails?

Podiatrists are registered health care practitioners who work within a particular scope of practice relevant to the foot and related leg.

  • Do you do nails and calluses?

As fully qualified and registered practitioners we do offer full care for feet, from nail and callous care through to musculoskeletal injuries.
