FAQs

  • Which areas do you service?

SDS Training has two major training premises; Maryborough and Rockhampton. Additionally, we offer a diverse range of training regularly in locations across Queensland, with on-site training available to clients meeting eligibility requirements.

  • How long does a training course generally take?

The length of a specific training course is heavily dependent on the nature of the course (i.e. Short course, High-Risk, Qualification, etc.). Check out our website or give us a call for more information regarding the duration of specific courses.

  • How are course or training fees paid?

We have a range of subsidised training options available for eligible participants (i.e. Certificate 3 Guarantee program, CSQ funding and User Choice funding). Visit sdstraining.edu.au for more information, including eligibility criteria. For students not eligible for subsidised training, a fee for service payment is required (concessional and non-concessional rates apply).

We venture to ensure that all training and assessments are designed to minimise workplace disturbances, however, some disruption may be experience depending on the course durations and/or assessment requirements.

As a registered training organisation, SDS Training is required to adhere to strict compliance standard as outlined by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). To ensure we meet such standards, regular and thorough internal and external audits are conducted.

We do, however, strive to provide all participants with the highest quality training to increase opportunities to engage with an ever evolving and competitive employment sector.
