See the parrots, finches, doves and quails in the large bird room and the hand-reared parrots in their play-pen. Children's pythons and lizards are available. Small pets are favourites with children; these include rats, mice and guinea pigs with a good range of foods, treats, treatments and cages. There are also creepy crawlies that include hermit crabs, spiders, scorpions and centipedes, children are fascinated by them, and they are perfect for school projects. The garden section has all the products needed to improve, maintain and care for your garden and lawn, plus hydroponic supplies, tools, shade cloth, forestry pots, planter bags, organic and inorganic fertilisers. The outdoor plant area has vegetable and flower punnets, herbs, natives and indoor and outdoor flowering plants. Come on in, you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Solving Garden or Pet Problems:

Our experienced staff will happily help with advice and possible product solutions to your dilemma. If your plant has a problem it is best to bring in a piece of the affected plant or a photo.

Aquarium pH Testing:

Bring in a small aquarium water sample and we will test the pH for you.

Soil pH Testing:

Bring in a sample of garden soil dug 5-10cm below the top soil. Make sure the soil has not been fertilised as this will make the test inaccurate. Only a teaspoon of soil is needed for testing.
