Each roll is 1740mm x 580mm (1m2).
During the warmer month’s new turf will require at least 25mm of water daily until it is established (usually 10 to 14 days). Once the lawn has established it will need approx. 25mm of water a week.
You should place a starter fertiliser under your new lawn and then fertilise again about 4 weeks after lying. Once established your lawn should be fertilised 3 to 4 times per year, achieving best results at the beginning of each season (summer, autumn, winter and spring). We can recommend and supply a suitable fertiliser, feel free to ask about this when ordering.
We recommend leaving your first mow until the roots have taken hold (approximately 10 to 14 days) you should set your mower to a higher setting (40-50mm) for the first few times, as this promotes deep root growth. Do not mow more than 1/3 of the leaf in one mowing, if you need to take more than this do it in 2-3 stages over a period of a few weeks.
We recommend our Sapphire Soft Leaf Buffalo for shaded areas. Trials have shown that Sapphire is the highest rated shade tolerant turf. More info can be found under varieties on our website.
Yes, we do supply turf all year round and turf can be laid in our mild Queensland winter.
We supply rolls only.
Premium Turf delivers Monday through to Saturday and will arrange delivery at a time to suit you.
Nara Native Zoysia is a slower growing variety that requires less mowing.
