In short, yes - there's no such thing as it can't be done! However this can be a costly experience. Where possible Banister Marine try to avoid painting fibreglass boats because your original gelcoat on your boat is more durable than many paint systems on the market. If your boat is beyond gelcoat restoration then painting your boat is your next best option. Phone Banister Marine today and find out what might be your best outcome.
In Banister Marine's experience working on trailer boats, 90% of the time it's the drain plugs.
There are a lot of great products on the market now especially designed for the marine industry from cutting compounds, UV stable wax and polishes. They can either be applied by machine or by hand. Banister Marine would be happy to advise anyone looking at trying to make their boat look new again and give you pointers on how to tackle this job yourself (hence save some money) or give an estimate on having your boat detailed at Banister Marine.
