As a Registered Land Surveyor, Michael is also qualified to complete Rural Fire Service assessment reports for proposed developments in fire prone areas and Flood Reports for proposed dwellings within flood prone lands.

  • Can Gray Surveyors complete engineering and design plans for civil works, roads, services etc?

Yes, Registered Land Surveyors are qualified in the knowledge and education to successfully provide design plans for most civil works associated with land development.

  • We are ready to develop our land, is Gray Surveyors a one stop shop?

Yes, give us call and we can help you through the whole process from development application preparation to final approval of works by Council. We can even electronically lodge plans with the Titles Office for plan registration.

  • As development is bound by numerous regulations and legislative requirements, is Gray Surveyors familiar and fully informed of the requirements?

Gray Surveyors staff are fully informed and keep up to date with legislation, regulations and policy changes. With the different levels of Government legislation, from federal to state to local, land development consultants must be aware of all the requirements to ensure no unnecessary requirements are placed on the developer, which ultimately may increase development costs.

  • How long does land development take?

That will depend on the development, the works involved and the standards and regulations required to be satisfied. Give us a call and we will be only too happy to give you an approximate timeframe for your proposal.

  • Does Gray Surveyors have a working relationships with the Councils in the area?

Gray Surveyors has been working with the Councils in the area for many years. We have a good working relationship and understand Council standards and requirements and their need to ensure all development work is competently completed.

Only Registered Land Surveyors can legally define boundaries and complete Identification Surveys, so yes, Michael can help you with this and any issues that may arise.

  • What if you need to enter my neighbour’s land to complete survey works?

Under the Surveying and Spatial Information Act 2002, Registered Land Surveyors accompanied by their assistant(s) can legally enter land, which includes any building or structure on which a survey mark is located, to take measurements, search for survey marks and to place new surveys marks for the purpose of carrying out any land survey.

  • Are Gray Surveyors fully insured?

Yes, we are fully insured. Our public liability and professional indemnity insurance, specifically designed for registered land surveyors, offers peace of mind for the developer.

  • What if I can’t get to your office during opening hours?

We understand work and family commitments can restrict you at times. We can help you outside of our office hours of Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm, just give us a call to arrange an appointment that suits you.
