At some time during our lives death will touch us all. It may effect a family member or close friend and cause much pain and grief. It may change our lives in many ways. You don't have to deal with this bereavement alone. It is okay to seek support.
First of all take time to sit and collect yours thoughts, there is no need to rush at this time. After you have collected your thoughts, you may wish to call a friend or relative if you are alone and in need of support during this time. There may also be friends or relatives who may wish to see your loved one before he or she is taken to the Funeral Home.
The nursing staff will notify the doctor for you, who will make the necessary certification. You may wish to contact family and friends, who may like to spend some time with the deceased. You can discuss your needs with the staff. The Nursing staff will then advise you to contact Barbara King Funeral Director who will make arrangements for the deceased to be transferred to our Funeral Home.
