Everyone has different goals with chiropractic care and everyone responds differently to treatments but our general fees and appointment times are as follows: new patient consult = $90 (30-40 minutes), previously active clients = $80 (over 12 months since last apt), standard consult = $60 (15 minutes), seniors / children / concession cardholders receive 10% discount.
We do not require X-rays or referrals for our new patients; but we may request you to get one performed after your initial consult if deemed required. However, if you have previously had X-rays previously, please bring them along and your Chiropractor can go over them with you in your consultation.
On your first visit you will be greeted by our friendly staff upon entering 6 Taloumbi Road, Coffs Harbour. Our chiropractic assistants will ask you to complete our intake forms. These forms give your chiropractor great insight into your current condition and previous health history. Your chiropractor will then take you through anything on the form that’s of concern and take a thorough physical, neurological and postural examination.
Yes, chiropractic is covered by all major private health insurances. For your convenience we have HICAPS on site so you can get your rebate immediately. Consult your insurance company to ensure you have the correct cover.
Normally yes, unless on assessment you are deemed to be not suitable for chiropractic care.
It is not uncommon to hear a slight noise from the shifting of gas and fluids in the joint which is a perfectly normal occurrence, but we appreciate that some practice members would prefer different styles of adjusting. Make sure you speak to our chiropractor about any concerns you may have, as we have many techniques available.
Absolutely. The nervous system controls the tension of your muscles so it is important to get this functioning at it’s best. Most people find that once they get adjusted their muscles begin to relax naturally as their spine and nerves begin to function normally again. Our chiropractors use various techniques that affect both the spine and musculature, and we also have massage therapists, acupuncturists and physiotherapists we refer to when required.
