The Oldknow name has been synonymous with earthmoving and haulage throughout the Upper Hunter for 30 years.
SH & DA Oldknow Pty Ltd began as a partnership in 1985, when, Steve Oldknow purchased a M.A.N six wheel tipper, for coal haulage in the Foybrook pit. As business increased and contracts were taken with Howick, Newdell and Liddell, the fleet expanded to include more and more on road haulage trucks and eventually trucks with bins too big to be registered for road use.
Today the requirement for on road type trucks being very limited, Oldknow Earthmoving & Haulage has moved on, with the purchases of truck & dog trailer combinations, articulated trucks, excavators, loaders, dozers and poly welding equipment.
