John R. Dean Constructions is a construction company founded by John R Dean in 1976. Since then the company has grown and evolved into the successful organisation it is today. Anthony Dean (son of John Dean) took on his apprenticeship with the company in 1990 and following in his fathers footsteps now owns and operates the business today. We are proud to be an accredited HIA green smart professional incorporating sustainable and renewable building resources in our design and construction.
As specialists in renovating we offer a complete construction package tailored to suit your individual needs. Our personalised service and in-house designer and drafting service ensure that we are the best choice for your renovation, alteration, extension or granny flat. A granny flat can be a positive way to add value and flexibility to the use of your home. The existing house does not need to meet complying development standards. Only the new extension or addition to make the granny flat must meet the requirements of the policy, such as heights, building setbacks, maximum site coverage, and maximum floor area. These requirements can change from council to council.
