Manual lymphatic drainage massage is a gentle, relaxing hands-on treatment designed to stimulate lymphatic system function. By stimulating the circulation of lymph through the body, removal of wastes and toxins is encouraged. Lymphatic massage improves circulation to and from the tissues of the body and has the potential to improve immune function. It is often a helpful treatment for swelling.
Encompass Therapy uses a Riancorp low level laser to treat a range of conditions where swelling, scarring and inflammation are present. The treatment is painless and uses a small, handheld unit to bring about a photochemical change in the cells being targeted. The Riancorp laser is effective in treating slow healing skin wounds, scarring, lymphoedema and lipoedema.
As a RESTORE scar therapist, Roseanne uses a range of techniques to improve the look, form and function of scar tissue. Treatment is non-invasive and gentle and uses techniques such as massage, cupping, low level laser therapy, taping and targeted exercise to optimise scar healing.
