FAQs

  • What to expect at the first appointment?

The initial appointment is approximately 45 - 60mins depending on your needs. Please arrive 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork, and bring recent (up to 5 years) X Rays, scans and MRI results with you. The chiropractor will discuss your complaint and medical history, as well as look at any reports and studies you have provided. An examination will be done to determine what the problem is and an initial treatment will also be provided in most cases.

  • Are X Rays required to start treatment?

X Rays are not needed in many cases. If there is a significant injury, or if you have advanced arthritis or other problems, it is advisable to get X Rays or scans of the area.

  • How many treatments are needed?

The number of treatments varies depending on individual need. In some cases the problem is resolved quickly, and no further treatment is needed. Other cases are more complex and need more treatment. There is no requirement to sign up for lengthy treatment programs. Often people choose to get treated periodically after the initial problem is resolved, to keep their body tuned up.
