  • Should I be present during the initial packing process?

    Yes, at least in the beginning. You or someone authorised by you should be available to meet our team on the day of the move to discuss with our team leader what specific items you need removed and any special notes about their care. Once the process starts rolling, you can certainly leave the site to address any other commitments during the day, but be sure to return in time to inspect and sign off on the final moving inventory when all your items are safely loaded into our vehicles.

  • Can I pack myself?

    Sure, if you insist. We will happily work with you in a joint effort to get you moving, but please be aware of the limited cover level typically offered by insurance carriers regarding? Self-packed items? In most cases, self-packed items are insured only against loss, not damage. Another consideration is the price of moving materials such as boxes, tape and other packing supplies as well as your own time spent on the process.

  • What should I do in anticipation of the team's arrival?

  • Will the packing team wear shoes in my house?

    We understand that many homeowners are concerned with the look and condition of their higher-end flooring. We are required to wear shoes at all times during the uplift and packing process however our team can offer a range of temporary floor coverings that provide outstanding protection for all flooring, please make sure to speak with one of our representatives about flooring requirements when you call to book your move.

  • Can I include food?

    We may be able to provide safe transport of food during short-range moves that is collected and delivered the same day as long as all packaging is secure and tightly sealed to prevent any leakage or spoilage. Longer moves such as interstate relocations can be less ideal for transportation of foodstuffs, as there is the risk of spills and spoilage.

  • Can my plants move with me?

    We strongly recommend against this especially including large or exotic plants in the moving process because of the logistical and legal challenges involved. Moving companies generally do not have the proper facilities or equipment to house your plants in a healthy manner. Moving such plants across state borders can be subjected to timely inspections by various state authorities. Overseas transport of any plants is strictly prohibited.
