Regular check-ups are required due to the shrinkage of the underlying bone structure and the mouth tissue. Over time dentures will need adjusting, relined or replaced to maintain a good fit and healthy mouth.
Daily cleaning with nonabrasive cleaners and a soft brush will help to reduce plaque and stains. Toothpastes are not recommended as they are abrasive causing microscopic scratches, allowing staining and bacteria to attach quicker and this also abrades the fitting surface. Your Prosthetist can clean your denture for you.
We personalise dentures to offer you a more natural looking and face enhancing smile. We allow you to take your denture home before completion to show your family or in your own comfort to make sure you're happy with your look.
At the beginning while you become accustomed to your new teeth some small adjustments maybe required, but with some tips from your prosthetist eating and talking will become totally natural.
