FAQs

  • How can I maintain more energy?

Find out which foods you need to eat to maximise your energy and maintain wellness. Get your copy of the 10 foods you must eat every day.

  • How do l manage my weight?

Our constant exposure to endless weight loss 'diets' has resulted in people being more confused rather than informed. We can educate you on which of these diets have merit, which have little or no effect, and which have adverse health effects.

  • Looking for someone to speak to your community group?

Josephine is available to speak to your church, school or community group on a variety of nutrition and wellness related topics. Enquire now.

  • What are the key principles of good nutrition?

Eating a wide variety of different foods is a key principle of good nutrition if you're short on iodine, selenium or some other trace element, for instance, you stand a better chance of getting it from 40 foods than from just 10. This principle of variety is so important it's enshrined as the first of 13 Dietary Guidelines for good health.

  • How to organise plating & nutrition meals?

If we can help you take the drama out of your meal times, we'll be delighted to help.

  • Can you please tell me about Josephine Mollica?

Josephine feels that the best part of working with women, is that once they've learned how to best use food to lead healthier lives, they then share that with their spouse, children and community networks and in so doing create something akin to a chain reaction of better health. A dedicated learner throughout her whole life - Josephine has completed a Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics. She is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD).

  • Do you have a database of resources?

Over time, we're looking to bring you a range of resources that will enable you to take more control of yours and your family's health and wellbeing. You might even save some money on your weekly grocery bill too. So please bear with us whilst we build up our resources. If there's something you'd like to see us post information on, feel free to drop us a suggestion.

  • Which road sign applies to your eating habits?

What things are you currently saying or doing, that need to stop? Do you need to stop making unrealistic food rules, setting unrealistic weigh loss goals, or feeling guilty over enjoying a treat. Op perhaps you need to stop waiting for the 'right' time to start exercising. Let me help you make the start in the right direction.

  • What is food modelling?

If we want our children to eat well, we have to 'walk the talk'. Are your eating habits a good role model for your children? Remember - they are watching (and copying!) Which of our eating habits are due to our parents' expectations during our childhood?

  • What is yo-yo dieting?

Are you a yo-yo dieter? Are you on a cycle of dieting, losing weight, then rebelling against the diet, putting on weight again, only to go back onto the same diet or perhaps another one, in the hope this is the one? There is a way. Lets talk about it!
