About Bryton Wool

AT A GLANCE
  • Regional wool buying/brokering business
  • Established in 1973
  • Greasy wool handling facility
  • Truly local people with local knowledge
  • Competitive price
Bryton Wool is 100% Australian owned.
Bryton Wool is a regional wool buying/brokering business, and was first established in 1973 at Canowindra, in Central West New South Wales by Tony Jenkins. Bryton Wool was developed out of Tony's vision of giving the needs of the local growers an easier, more accessible greasy wool handling facility which is close to the point of production.

About us:

Since its establishment in 1973, Bryton Wool saw many changes until 1992 when Geoffrey and Sue Beath entered the business and it is now a leading central NSW based wool marketing organisations, expanding quickly through the 1990's when it saw the opening of a Store at Young with Dave Walsh servicing the needs of the Young and district growers.

Areas we cover:

We have 4 centres covering the needs of growers from:

  • Braidwood and Tumut in the south to Stockinbingal
  • Caragabal
  • Forbes
  • Parkes
  • Trundle and Tullamore in the west
  • Yeoval and Euchareena in the north to Oberon
  • Burraga in the east which in turn saw us handling over 25000 bales

Our success:

Bryton Wool was established with an objective of employing truly local people with local knowledge. This knowledge ensures that your wool returns the highest possible prices; this then benefits the local communities. Bryton Wools success in the wool industry is owed to the continuing push for expansion and keeping up with technology in an ever changing industry an example of this is we now offer electronic wool results.
