FAQs

  • What age do you take children from at both of your centres?

Both our centres take children from 2-5 years.

  • What are your hours of operation?

We are open from 7.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday. We are closed for all public holidays, but if your child attends on a public holiday you will receive a make-up day for this. We are also closed for 2 weeks over the Christmas and New Year period, this is not charged.

  • Do you provide meals?

Yes, we have fully qualified cooks who prepare highly nutritional meals daily for the children.

  • What else do you provide?

Our services provide opportunities for young children to learn as they discover, create, improvise and imagine in their play and environments around them. Educators engage with the children in their interactions and conversations and scaffold these, for learning experiences with their social friends here at the centre. Scaffolding involves "the educator's decisions and actions that build on children's existing knowledge and skills to enhance their learning."

  • How many rooms are there in your centres?

Our centre is a one room service which caters for 33 children a day. Even though we are in one room educators purposefully group children into 4 focus groups that cater to children’s interest needs and strengths. This provides the children with opportunity to grow, learn and develop with children of similar ages. These groups include our Ganyi group (2 years) Burumin group (3 years) Wumbat (4 years) and Mariyang group (5 year school readiness group).

  • Do you provide a school readiness program for the year before primary school?

Yes, we have 3 Early Childhood Teachers daily at each centre. Our ECT's devise our programs for these children. We provide learning environments that are welcoming spaces that reflect and enrich the lives and identities of the children and their families in our centre and these all respond to children's individual interests and needs.

  • Can you tell me a little more about this?

At Junior Einsteins, we have environments that support learning, that are vibrant and responsive to the individual interests & abilities of each child here at our centre. We cater for different learning capacities & learning styles & invite children & families to contribute ideas, interests & questions. The older group do a lot more than the other groups as we recognise how important it is for these children to be prepared.

  • What are your full fees per day?

Our Centre's full fee is $100 per day for 3 – 5-year old’s and $105 for children aged 2 years old. This is reflective of state regulations of ratios 1:5 for 2-year old’s and 1:10 for 3- 5-year old's. Your out-of-pocket cost, however, it will depend on your CCS entitlements from the government.

  • Do you have a website and or a Facebook page?

Yes, our website address is http://www.junioreinsteins.com.au and you can find us on Facebook or Instagram by searching “Junior Einsteins”.
