FAQs
Systems employs Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles. IPM is an ecologically based pest management strategy that centres around detailed assessment of pest populations and the conditions under which they proliferate.
The strategy uses complementary techniques (physical, cultural, biological, educational and chemical) with a priority on non-chemical control measures.
Effective IPM requires ongoing monitoring and assessment of the effectiveness of control strategies.
Timber Pests
Termites, borers and fungal decay are covered by our unique Timber Pest Inspection and Management Program.
Nuisance Pests
Low hazard and non-chemical management of cockroaches, ants, rodents, silverfish, etc. Suitable for allergy sufferers and people sensitive to chemicals.

The first stage is a thorough, detailed inspection of all accessible areas of the property.
A comprehensive report provides detailed findings and an IPM strategy that relates to the assessed causes of infestation and contributing factors.
Recommendations regarding non-chemical methods to reduce the risk of future attack are provided with a priority rating.

You may not see any signs of termites until it's too late. The only way you can be really sure you don't have termites is to have an annual timber pest inspection by a qualified timber pest inspector from Systems Pest Management Pty Ltd.
We are environmental scientists with special training in this field. We are committed to making a difference and our focus is on risk reduction. Unlike other companies, we put your health and environment first.
We design a pest management strategy that focuses on non-chemical controls. That means no sprays. The strategy will be designed specifically for your problems and needs. We may use localised low-hazard treatments for certain pests.
The first step is a thorough, detailed, systematic inspection by Systems Pest Management Pty Ltd.
Depending on the site, the first inspection for timber pests will take around 2 to 3 hours.

Yes, we can help! We can carry out treatments and suggest non-chemical solutions to help you. This is called Integrated Pest Management (IPM). This may include the use of granular baits, gel baits, pesticide-free sticky traps and some absorptive powders for cockroaches and ants. Please note that we cannot spray for rats. We will help you identify creatures that are beneficial to have around your home. If you have children or pets, exterior sprays are not a good idea.
