Personal protective equipment (PPE) is anything worn or used to minimise risk to the workers’ health and safety. This may include boots, earplugs, goggles, respirators, safety shoes, hard hats and more. In industries such as construction, businesses may need to provide construction workwear to further protect their workers if things go wrong.
