The service provided to me by the staff at Solomon’s is worthy of high praise. Throughout the process I dealt with several members of their staff, all of whom afforded me the patience and co-operation I required. I indicated at the very beginning I had a brand in mind, but was not in a rush, which was my way of saying I wanted to make my colour and design choice, in my own time and did not want to rushed into something just so they could make a sale. Right from the very start they matched their service to what I required, to work through, in my mind the options, colours and designs I wanted. Firstly, I appreciated that their showroom did not have music blaring at me, which I find an interference with my thought process. After providing me with a book of very small samples Zeb painstakingly ordered some larger samples, I requested to facilitate my decision and when I returned to request some further samples he followed through. He was always courteous and pleasant. Chris was in the background and as my process proceeded, he was paramount in arranging one the exact tiles I required, and in doing the measure and quote. Chris quietly instilled confidence that the laying staff would be capable of the complicated design I was considering.
Jonothan was an absolute star. He notified me of his arrival at the house and from my sketch plan, of the pattern design, I had created he began laying out the tiles, in position, for my confirmation. When he sensed I was hesitant he suggested he do another delivery giving me 10 minutes alone to come to terms with both the unexpected slight difference in colour between a sample and a full tile, and my chosen pattern in a bigger form. This, 10 minutes, also gave me the opportunity to reconfigure my design, observe this, and then more confidently revert to my original plan. With the full design in position Jonothan gave me the opportunity look over the result before permanently laying the tiles. He was obliging when I wanted to exchange two of the tiles for others, still in the box because the stone effect created something that looked like a footprint that was bound to make me ‘wash’ it off every-time I looked at it. His patience, attitude and skill ensured I am very happy with the result. I was pleased he took photos of the end result.
Mitchell followed up with what was a lot more than a perfunctory courtesy call. It was not rushed and had the feel of a person taking a genuine interest in my level of satisfaction and I appreciated this.
