Tile joints should be evenly spaced, and tile grouting should be even and straight.
Observe the layout of the floor or wall tiles. Experienced tilers begin from the centre of the room or wall, hence, ‘fractional’ wall or floor tiles should be evenly sized
Check carefully where wall or floor tiles have had to be cut -normally around a doorway or in the corners, as the finish here will reflect the tiler’s skill.
Look at the overall finish! There should be little to no grout splashes on adjacent walls and floors.
Verify with the customer if the area has been professionally cleaned after the day’s work.
