Shoalcoast Community Legal Centre started in 1999 out of necessity for a free legal advice service in the Shoalhaven, but has grown to be so much more than that. Our vision is to live in an inclusive and equitable society that embraces social justice, where professional legal services and support is available to all, regardless of social or economic status.

Anita first worked in a legal office in1996. Her ability was recognised by an astute senior practitioner who encouraged her to qualify in law whilst still employed in a law office. Sher continued her legal experience for a further 7 years before deciding to commence her own practice.
