Brooks Hire commenced in 1979 when Doug Brooks purchased two u/s compressors on bankcard. In 1982 Doug purchased the first piece of mobile plant an 8 tonne JEC crane, by tender, which Doug drove to Eneabba. At the time of buying the crane, Doug was operating the business from a shed at Eneabba working 18 hour days and living 5 days a week in a humpy at the back of a shed.

We are located in Cnr Pt Wakefield Rd and Churchill Rd North, Cavan SA 5094 and have a wide range of used mining and construction equipment.

Our highly trained technicians undertake servicing and repairs from our workshop, or from our field service vehicles. For pick-up and delivery we also have our own low loader truck - capable of carrying up to 14 tonne.

With little more than a truck and trailer carrying out utility patching for a civil company south of Adelaide, AAA Asphalt has since grown to incorporate a large fleet of plant and equipment. The company now services commercial, residential and government clients across South Australia.

We do domestic and commercial building works including demolition, asbestos removal, earthmoving & excavation, rubbish removal, yard clearing, building site work & clean, base preparation for construction, paving, roadways, swimming pool excavation, landscaping preparation or clearing and labour hire.
