We hired Kent from Look Sharp Inspections to conduct the inspections to the fit out and completion stages of our new build. We can’t stress how grateful we are for his professionalism, knowledge and thorough inspections of our new home. We built with a supposedly reputable building franchise, but Kent was able to identify a number of items that were not compliant to the building regulations. He was meticulous in his work by inspecting each room, taking photos and notes and promptly providing comprehensive reports that we could rely on to ensure that the builder rectified the work before we approved payment. We have already and will continue to recommend him to family and friends. We are also planning to re-engage him to conduct the 90-day maintenance period inspection. We trust his expertise. No matter who you are building with, appointing an independent building inspector is your right. Kent is registered and experienced. He often knew more about what the acceptable building standards were than the builder. Without him, we’d hate to think where we’d be. He was punctual and reliable. Even making himself available over his Christmas holidays just to help us to progress our build. We can’t thank him enough!
