Cairns Electrical Rewinds & Repairs

Thank you Cairns Electrical Rewind and Repairs. I had a Bosch grass cutter repaired under warranty at this family business and the cutter is now better than when it was brand new! Makes me wonder if it always had some underlying issues. Repairing a small item under warranty is probably not particularly rewarding, but the service I received was exceptional. Thank you for your professionalism and superb workmanship. Deborah G

Power tool service tips

If you’re a professional that makes his dough with his/her power tools, you’ll know that a dull tool is a pain to work with. Maintenance is key to longer lasting power tools, so consider these handy tips for keeping your blades sharpened and your tool powerful.

  • Lubrication is a must to keep moving parts from getting damaged. Check the maintenance section of your owner’s manual and follow the manufacturers instructions on how to correctly lubricate the tool.
  • Sharpen drill bits and blades. Using worn out bits or saw blades means the power tool has to work even harder to get the job done. For more severe dents and blunted tools, consider taking your tool to a power tool service centre near you.
  • Clean your power tool regularly, ideally before they are stored away until the next job.
  • Replace or repair worn parts. Power tool after sales services often sell spare parts and bits.

You can find power tools repair services near you by browsing through our local listings, which shows reviews and locations to aid your decision.
