Anthony moved our piano from Bondi to Bronte recently. We arranged a time with Anthony earlier in the week with no problems. On the day of the move, Anthony arrived on time with one other gentleman and immediately got to work. They tried exiting out of the front door - no joy. Instead, they took it around the side, and managed to deftly maneuver this incredibly heavy instrument around the side of the house, down 3 clunky outside stairs and onto the truck. When we got to the new apartment, the guys had 50 stairs over 3 storeys to get the piano up. I was originally concerned, and was worried they'd need to use boards, ropes, and extra guys. Incredibly, they used straps and our 2 piano movers carried it all the way up, powering past most of the landings. The front door was a choke point, but because of Anthony's many years of experience they figured out a way to put the piano on it's side so it could fit through, and got it inside without a problem. The whole move took 45 minutes or so, they treated the piano with the utmost care, they were experts and complete professionals, and really friendly to boot. Plus my wife was very happy to meet someone else from the New York/New Jersey tri-state area! We were also really pleased with the pricing - the most affordable we saw having looked at a number of options.
