Railton Boarding Kennels and Cattery is a family-owned, locally operated dog boarding kennel facility in Railton. Established in 1999, we have converted our passion for animals into a thriving business that initially was exclusively for dogs and gradually became a full-fledged cat boarding facility as well. Ric and Jeri Van Schie have been running the business since 2004. They are life-long dog lovers and have two 2-legged children along with twelve 4-legged children. The Ulverstone Veterinary Clinic is a mixed practice that has provided a continuous service to the community of the Central Coast of Tasmania since the mid-1970s. In 1979 Dr Peter Thomson commenced practice at Ulverstone after graduating from Sydney University. The UVC has since evolved to be a 2-3 vet mixed practice mainly serving companion animals but has a depth of large animal experience.

We service suburbs throughout the Meander Valley region and also see clients across much of the north and north west of Tasmania and into the northern midlands. Many horses and some cattle are also brought into the clinic, which saves clients travel costs and facilitates access to the full range of diagnostic equipment based at Deloraine.
