When I was growing up, braces were an awkward thing. they were ugly metal contraptions that made your mouth ugly, and I was called metal-mouth by my friends. So, 30 years later, when my kids were recommended braces by their doctor, I was kind of scared for them. Thank god for the Invisalign braces that are available today.
