Founded in 1997, Beat Architects is a dynamic design-based practice known for creating budget-conscious, high-impact, and environmentally sensitive architecture.

Over the following 30 years the practice was commissioned to design many of Central Queensland's major civic and iconic buildings e.g. Pilbeam Theatre, Capelec head office (today's Ergon building), Commonwealth offices to name a few.
