Foolish mistakes to avoid in the fitness centre - lets lift!

With so many pieces of equipment to work with and people taking up racks and benches, it can be hard to set up a routine. To save yourself time and make your workouts more effective and safe, make sure to avoid the following mistakes.

Waiting for equipment or benches to open up.
Skipping the warm-up or cool-down can open you up to injury due to lack of blood flow.
Doing cardio before a big lifting session may fatigue you going into your lift. This can result in poor form or injury.
Not increasing intensity or number of repetitions of an exercise over time.
Not timing rest periods can stretch out your gym session far longer than necessary.
