Local Golf Clubs - Private in Noosa Heads QLD

Interesting course that winds through the hills behind Noosa. Currently only 9 holes - the other nine is 80% finished but now stall. $30 for nine or $50 for 18. Let down by the absence of bunkers and the greens were very slow. Be sure to wear a collared shirt otherwise you won't be let on. No kids allowed either - so the idea is that you will have a quick enjoyable proper round of golf. I particularly liked one par five where you could really let go with your second shot to the green 230 metres away. The last hole is really tricky - drive over a dam then the second has to carry a valley and squeeze around trees to a perched green. I enjoyed it because it was quiet, it is actively trying to discourage the bogans that wreck so many golf rounds and I got to have a long chat with the couple that built and run the course.
