The PEI (Porcelain Enamel Institute) rating is used to measure the durability and wear resistance of floor and wall tiles. Tiles with PEI rating of 0 are classified as wall-only tiles and tiles with PEI rating of 1 to 5 are considered as floor tiles. But this is no reason to stop you from using floor tiles (PEI 1 to 5) on your walls. Here are some tips on how you can use your modern floor tiles to achieve a trendy wall.
