First aid kit supply guidelines

Every household and office needs first aid supplies to handle first aid emergencies. Here are some suggestions and guidelines to help you decide what needs to be done.

  • First aid requirements vary from one workplace or home to another. Consider the potential risks and hazards to decide what arrangements you need to have in place.
  • Place first aid kits close to areas where there is a higher risk of injury. This may be near the kitchen, inside vehicles or near construction sites.
  • Have at least one person in charge of safety and first aid. The person should have first aid training or be willing to take a first aid training course near you. In buildings with many workers, have approximately one first aider for every 50 workers. For high-risk workplaces such as a construction site, have at least one first aider for every 25 workers.
  • All members of the premise should have access to first aid equipment and facilities.

Pick up your first aid supplies from one of our many suppliers. Search our listings and make your premise a safer environment today!
