We were lucky enough to use this company for our recent tree removal and trimming needs. They are incredibly professional, friendly and extremely careful while doing their high level act to avoid any damage to surrounding vegetation. Safety when handling firewood

After finding firewood for sale near you, it is worth considering the safety of your fireplace to ensure no accidents happen to the people enjoying it. Follow the following guidelines to make sure you don’t get burned!

Buy firewood logs that are not too big. 2-4 kg per log should be okay.
Never use petrol, oil or kerosene to help light a fire. They could cause an explosion.
If you plan on leaving firewood to burn overnight. Only turn the air supply down to the minimum setting once all the firewood is charred.
Purchase firewood from a reputable firewood supplier - preferably one who is a member of The Australian Home Heating Association
In most cases, firewood must be sold by weight, so don't pay for excess weight in water.
