Q: My car engine is having problems- do I need a new one?
A: Not at all! In most cases, engine rebuilding or reconditioning can bring the engine back from the dead, and get it up and running as if nothing ever happened.

Q: I’ve heard some horror stories involving second hand engine shops. Why is it a bad idea to grab an engine from the wreckers?
A: Although you can often get good quality engines from the wrecker downtown, chances are the engine might be a different model. Added costs include refitting and removing, new oil, new coolant, engine cleaning and the list goes on. All of this adds up to a comparable price, and you run the risk that your engine won’t even start.

Q: How often should I check my engine oil?
A: You should get your car engine oil checked every month ideally. Also aim to service your car every year.
